In Los Angeles, I’m thankful there isn’t much rain. But when it does, I’m thankful for Precision Weather Service. When rain threatened an outdoor event designed with micro-suede furnishings, I did what any event producer would do – get a direct line to the head meteorologist in the sky. No, not Mother Nature! I’m talking about a special group of elite and very in-the-know meteorologists out of New York called precisionweather.com. For a nominal fee, you can get this direct connection to all things weather. In the case of this event, they assured me that based on their calculation the rain would stop four hours before my event and stay away through it. They were absolutely correct!

Of course, in Los Angeles, where I do 70 percent of events outside, I’m thankful there isn’t much rain. But when it does appear on the horizon, I’m thankful for Precisionweather.com.
When rain threatened this outdoor event designed with micro-suede furnishings, I did what any event producer would do – get a direct line to the head meteorologist in the sky. No, not Mother Nature! So this Thanksgiving, my wish to you is that your skies be clear (but if they aren’t you know where to go now), your events be challenging (in a good way) and your days be filled with the love and warmth of family and friends!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Hillary Harris, Director of Special Events at Warner Brothers
Russ, I have to tell ya, Great Job…. your forecasts were spot on… much more accurate then the local TV stations. Congratulations on a super job…

Dear Wayne,
I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank PRECISION WEATHER DURING your work regarding “Floyd”. While Environment Canada was getting everyone worked into a lather about how bad it was going to he here, your staff kept it conservative, assuring our listeners that while we would get some strong winds and some rain, we didn’t have a whole lot to worry about.
Kudos to both weather offices, but particulary to Russ Murley in Portland, during those crucial morning hours last Friday as the disturbance was moving into Atlantic Canada, During our live hit with him at 7:20 a,m., he even began downgrading his earlier fortcast, We also did another live hit with him after the 9 a.m. newscast.
Again, our thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Ken Kingston, News Director

Thank You, Wayne. I researched an awful lot of service providers and even local
talent before deciding on Precision Weather. You’ve got a very competitive fee
schedule, but the major selling point has been the attitude and approach of the
staff. It’s clear to us that you guys are passionate about what you do. So are we. I
look forward to improving the sound of my station with your reports. (And firmly
trouncing the competition)
I’m standing by for Russ’ call tomorrow. And again, thanks for making this such an
easy decision.

Our stations have been associated with precision weather for over 15 years and to
this day I would never go anywhere else. The forecasts we receive are always on
target and if at anytime we need to change the forecast, or have severe weather in
the area, Wayne and his crew are there to assist!
Even though we are voiced tracked in the evenings and holidays, if something would
change in the weather, the precision weather crew are ready to call me at anytime of
the day to inform me and to update the forecast.
As I stated, I would highly recommend precision weather to anyone in the business if
you want accurate and timely forecasts.
Wayne, to you and your staff, Thank you for all you have done and will continue to
do for WLOI/WCOE.
